The Healing Benefits of Foot Soaks with Our Bath Salts
Recently, clients have told us that they don’t need bath salts as they don’t take a bath or the person whom they buy a Spa Gift box for doesn’t. Well, did you know that our bath salt soaks are fabulous for your feet & your mind? Just grab a big enough bucket that you can put a towel under and fill it halfway with the warmest water you can stand. Place it under your computer table or kitchen table and then add about 2 heaping teaspoons of the bath salts you purchased from us and swirl it in the water to infuse the power of the essential oils we use, herbs, flowers, clays, salts & in some cases, we add oatmeal or coconut milk to soothe your skin as well. Then slowly put your feet in, sit back and relax. Keep your footsies in for 15 minutes, then remove and pat dry or let them air dry. Immersion is a nice way to relax after a long day.
A foot soak soothes your muscles, hydrates your skin, and can relieve aches and pains due to standing for hours or walking in uncomfortable shoes. Plus, letting your feet sit in their own bath can help reduce swelling and prevent bacteria from settling into blisters and cuts or dirt under your toenails. It also helps to reduce thick calluses, softening them in a soak makes them easier to exfoliate.
